Sebastián Díaz has experience of research in areas related to citizen security and convivencia, dynamics of armed conflict, regional analysis, territorial analysis, and the application for the monitoring and mitigation of sociopolitical risks.
Currently, he is researching the use of cartography in social sciences and coordinates the group Razón Cartográfica, a network for the history of geography and cartography in Colombia.
